BRIEFLY EXPLAIN YOUR BLOGGING STYLE (WHERE YOUR FAVORITE BLOGGING SPOT/TOOLS – AS IN, ON THE COUCH USING YOUR SMARTPHONE OR SOMETHING).

As for spots, I blog all cozied up in my bed. Whether I lay down or sit up depends on my mood, but I tend to blog both ways all the time. As for tools, I write my posts on my handy MacBook Air (on WordPress, of course!), and I use Goodreads a lot as well. However, I usually browse my Reader on my phone whenever I have downtime.

HOW DO YOU MANAGE YOUR BLOGGING TIME INCLUDING BLOG READING TIME?

I’m going to be straightforward with you and say that things have been hectic lately. I am now in tenth grade and much more homework has been flying at my face, and this year I also joined a youth group which I love, but it has been taking up a big chunk of my time as well. So naturally, I have been reading and blogging less often. However, I still somehow find the time to do it all, and I am quite happy about that!🙂

Off the top of my head, I know I read a lot of Kiera Cass, Meg Cabot, Morgan Matson, John Green, Nicola Yoon, Tahereh Mafi, Stephanie Perkins, and R.J. Palacio. All are definitely worth checking out!❤️

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR BLOG NAME?

To be completely honest, I didn’t.😂 I really wanted to change my name because “Kdrewkthebookworm” stunk, so my mom suggested it and I thought it was kind of cute, so I changed it to “Kayla’s Book Nook.”

My uncreative eighth grader self came up with “Kdrewkthebookworm” because “Kdrewk” is a username that I have used for various websites in the past, and I tacked on “bookworm” because I didn’t know what else to call myself.😂 Also, I thought I needed a legit username for my blog, and I had no idea that you could use spaces!🙈

WHAT KEEPS YOU BLOGGING?

Everything! The supportive community, my love for reading and writing, the opportunities, you name it! Although I do feel kind of unmotivated at times (especially lately), there are just so many things that keep me running right back!💘
