September 2016 Book Haul

I know I say this every month, but I just can’t believe that September is over. It literally soared by! This means that I’ve finished my first month at high school, which I’m very happy about😊.

Anyway, today I will be showing you all the books I bought, received, and borrowed this month. Hope you enjoy!❤️

  1. You picked some really great books! 🙂 I loved Delirium! I pretend it’s a standalone though, I didn’t like the rest of the series so much. Funny that I also got a copy of the Perks of Being a Wallflower this month. I adore that movie ❤ The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight was alright. It's more about the family bonds than a romance, funny enough but it was still good. Are you reading Miss Peregrine's to watch the movie? I might go see it.

  2. The only one of these books that I’ve read is Miss Peregrine’s. It’s definitely a great book though so I hope you’ll enjoy it (if you haven’t read it already. If you have, I hope you liked it! haha).
Several of these others look interesting. I’ll have to check them out 🙂

      1. I’ll look forward to reading your review 🙂 I’m not sure whether I’m going to see the movie. In general I really like going to see movie adaptations of books that I loved but Tim Burton recently said some really crappy things about diversity when asked about the lack of people of color in the Miss Peregrine’s movie so now I’m kind of iffy on whether I want to support it. Truthfully, I’ll probably end up still watching it but I’m not sure if I’ll go see it in theaters. 😛

      2. So far, I’ve heard so-so things about it. 😛 I’m still hopeful it’ll be a good movie though. Hope you enjoy! 🙂

  3. I want to say: It is fantastic to see how much you utilize borrowing books! Sometimes I feel pressured to buy new books, but I’ve been trying to utilize my library more and give them diverse recs to purchase.

    1. My favourites were probably The Siren and Perks of Being a Wallflower. They were both amazing, and I’d definitely recommend them! I’m so glad you liked Cress, I did too. And The Truth About Forever was also really good, hope you enjoy it!😊
