Hi everyone!👋
For this week’s Top Ten Thursday, I will be listing 10 books I loved, but didn’t write reviews for (oops, my bad!🙊). I read them too long ago to write a detailed review right now, so in this post, I will be stating why and telling you a bit about my thoughts for each book.
So let’s get cracking!
1.
A Mango-Shaped Space by Wendy Mass was a middle grade book I read last year about a girl with synesthesia, which basically means that words and numbers all had colours for her. This blog wasn’t even a thought yet when I read it, but I totally would’ve written up a review if it was! Let’s just say, though, that this book gave me extreme feels.
2.
Ahhhh, I loved these two books! Again, this blog hadn’t existed yet in my mind when I read them, but it’s basically a middle grade historical fiction duology with a super relatable protagonist. I’d 100% recommend it!
3.
I LOVED Finding Audrey, but I just couldn’t find the right words to put on paper screen! Introverts, this one is for you.😊
4.
Morgan Matson’s books never disappoint! Second Chance Summer is my second favourite out of her four, however, my feels were just too much! I couldn’t get over this book, and I couldn’t get myself to write a review, which I now regret😫.
5.
I may not have reviewed Every Day, but I DID review its sequel companion book, Another Day. I just felt like I had more to say about that one, as I think I lost the words to say with this.
6.
I loved Divergent, I really did. I just thought that the plot was a bit too jumpy and that there were too many characters to write an accurate review.
7.
I really don’t know why I didn’t review Cinder. When I eventually read Winter and the two novellas, what I think I’ll do, though, is review the whole series😎.
8.
I meant to review Matched, but time just slipped out of my hands, and now its memory is fading away. I may do so when I read the next two books, though.
9.
As much as I wanted to review Open Road Summer, it’s a lot like many of the other contemporaries I’ve read, so I just thought that I would only be repeating the same thoughts I write in most of my book reviews. You can find my review for The Start of Me and You by the same author here, though!
10.
Last but not least, I really enjoyed but didn’t review Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn. To be honest, I have no idea why I didn’t, but three words I’d use to describe it? PLOT TWISTS GALORE!😛
So tell me! Have you read any of these books, and if so, have you reviewed them? (I’d love to read those reviews!😝) What are some books that you’ve read and adored, but neglected to review, for any reason? Do you review every book you read? Let me know in the comments below.
Au revoir!💜
Hey, I didn’t start reviews until after over 100 books were read…I just starred them. Now I wish I did! I know the feeling!
