Hi everyone!👋
Emily @ Rose Read has tagged me to participate in the I Messed Up book tag. Thanks for the tag, Emily!😘If you haven’t already, please check out her blog, it’s awesome!
Without further ado…
A character appearance that you misread or imagined differently
To be honest, I pictured Cinder from the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer to look a bit like a cross of Mulan and a robot. I just found out that this is what she’s supposed to look like:

A character name that you’ve been pronouncing wrong
I’m stealing Emily’s answer for this one- I also thought that Hermione was pronounced Her-mee-own, until I searched the web for the actual pronunciation. I have to admit, I’ve never seen the Harry Potter movies🙊
An overused trope that is your guilty pleasure
This isn’t really a trope or a guilty pleasure per se, but I am just obsessed with contemporary romance novels, even though a lot of them are really similar. Something about them tickles my fluffy bone!
A cliché character type that you like better on screen than reading about.
Probably animals. I can’t bring myself to read books about animals, but I LOVE kids’ movies featuring them!
A word/phrase you learned because of its use in a book
I don’t know… Sorry, I’m skipping for now.😥
Have you ever not read or completed a required reading book for school?
Yes! It was Skybreaker by Kenneth Oppel, a book I had to read for lit circles a couple years ago. It just wasn’t for me; as paranormal books and I do not get along! My teacher also assigned it not knowing that it was the second book in a series, so I was a bit confused as well. I ended up DNF’ing it; I couldn’t stand it!
Have you ever skipped (or wanted to) a chapter from the point of view of a character you weren’t interested in?
There are times when I WANT to skip, but I don’t want to miss any important information, so I just make do with it. Recently this has happened with Bette’s point of view in Tiny Pretty Things by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton, and you’ll see why in my review tomorrow.
Have you ever cancelled social plans to read a book?
No, that’s not very nice!😁

Au revoir!💜
Hi Kayla, thanks for tagging me. Unfortunately I already did this tag so I won’t be participating, but thank you! 🙂 I definitely agree with you on the contemporary romance novels, I love reading some of the cute, predictable story lines cause they make me smile.

It’s okay, no problem! And I know, right?!

Ahah! That’s such a fun tag! So funny that you would pronounce Hermione like that! It’s almost like the French pronunciation!

Great tag! Might actually try this one myself… I haven’t really had the time or imagination to write anything >_>

Hello Kayla! Thank you so much for the tag. :] I’m the sort of person who almost never imagines the characters as they are described, so usually I let my imagination take over!
