Blogger Recognition Award!

Hi everyone! I have some amazing news! 😄

I’ve been nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award! Thanks so much to Grace Anne for the nomination and your support for my blog!

As a nominee, I have been told to write this post to show my award, and to also thank and tag the blogger who nominated me. I have also been told to write a story of how this blog started, so here goes!

I have always had a love for reading and writing. When I joined Goodreads, I came across the art of book reviews, and it opened up a whole new reading world for me. I started to write some reviews of my own, and then I discovered book blogs! The ones I read really fascinated me, and I thought that it was really cool that they got to interact and write for so many other fellow readers, and get to read and review books before everyone else. Since I loved books and writing, I decided, why not make a blog of my own? I don’t really like writing fictitious stories, so I thought that blogging about them would be perfect for me. And I was right! I have only been blogging for about a month, but I find so much pleasure in doing it! I hope to continue for a long time!

I was also told to give two pieces of advice to bloggers just starting out:

1. Be sure to be active on your blog! If you want to get ARCs and plenty of followers, you need to keep your audience entertained by posting at least almost every day! It’s a great hobby, too, and I love taking the time every day to write the post for the next day!
2. Be sure to include tags in your posts so more people will be able to see them! At first, I was having a bit trouble getting people to see my posts, but then I discovered tags, and so that changed pretty quickly! But always make sure the tags actually relate to the post! If you are not sure how to include tags, when writing a post on a computer, look to your left and right below the blue ‘publish’ button, you will see a button that says “Categories & Tags.” Press that, and you will see a box that says “TAGS” on the top, and inside it, type the tag you want, and if you want to add another one, just press enter or return!

And lastly, for my 15 nominees! If your blog is listed here, then (if you want to, it’s ultimately your choice) write a post saying who nominated you, tag their website and give them your thanks, tell us what inspired you to start your blog, give two pieces of advice to new bloggers, and tag 15 other blogs who you think deserve this award!
